BOOKER FEST @ 100 Men Hall

Bay Saint Louis, MS – With a marker on the Mississippi Blues Trail, the 100 Men Hall is a 100-year-old organization that preserves culture, interprets history and gathers the community in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. It is also a “Mississippi Must-See Music Venue” according to Rolling Stone Magazine (August 2022). Located in Bay Saint Louis,  the 100 Men Hall is a 501c3 nonprofit organization (Hundred Members Debating Benevolent Association), supported by tax deductible donations.

100 Men Hall is living history on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Throughout the year, 100 Men Hall provides a broad range of live music events and other innovative programs that reflect its heritage of hosting legendary musicians such as Ray Charles, James Brown, Etta James, Sam Cooke, BB King, Chuck Berry, and countless other Black musicians at a time when white-only clubs forbid their entry.

Booker Fest is 100 Men Hall’s premier fundraiser event, celebrating the one-of-a-kind rhythm and blues keyboardist, James Carroll Booker III, who spent his childhood in Bay St. Louis. Each year, Booker Fest draws (~ 300) visitors from around the region, national and even internationally to celebrate the legacy of the musical genius who mentored performers such as Dr. John and Harry Connick, Jr.

The 5th Annual Booker Fest will be held August 30-September 1, 2024 and is on track to be bigger than ever with a line up of top musicians and performers along with unique takes on Southern food. The event is in beautiful Bay St Louis which has been named one of Southern Living’s Best Small Towns in the South and a Top Ten Small Coastal Town by USA Today. Sponsorship of Booker Fest is an opportunity for your organization to promote your brand and increase visibility with a diverse and discerning clientele. Attendees of Booker Fest come away with their hearts lifted, and your brand can be a part of that lasting positive feeling.
